2021 is booming so far according to the recently released cannabis numbers. A study indicated that people in legal states are not more likely to drive high. This is significant because the concern of an increase of accidents is one of the hurdles for legalization. New York will probably award cannabis permits in 2022. Since the state gave localities the option to opt-out, I wonder if it's going to end up being a mess like in California.
