Hi,

No matter who you wanted to win the election, things have been stressful this week. The true winners in this election are cannabis and CBD! Cannabis was approved for medicinal use in Mississippi and South Dakota as well as adult-use in Arizona, Montana and New Jersey. With the country passing pro-cannabis laws, it's going to be hard for the holdouts to demonize hemp, especially if we have changes with the DEA. And how can there be any smokable hemp bans after cannabis is legal in all states?

Oregon's new law of decriminalization of ALL drugs is important. As we show in our Cool Finds section, this seems to have saved lives and money in Portugal. Will it work in Oregon? I don’t know, but we will soon get some USA-based data on whether it does or not. And if it does, other states will implement this. As you probably know, CBD is one of many tools that seem to be working in helping those addicted to hard drugs like heroin quit.
