Hi,

In Montana, a dream deal turned out to be a nightmare as unscrupulous investors not only didn’t deliver the prices that were promised but also tied farmers’ hands as their crop rotted away. They won a $65M judgment though they hope to recoup a fraction of that. A Cornell University study added to the debate by stating that hemp does not go over the 0.3% THC threshold due to environmental and various stresses but due to genetics. The Consumer Brands Coalition which has the support of large brands such as Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and Kellogg are putting pressure on the FDA to give CBD their blessing. I think this is good news but also a sign that the big boys want part of the action.
