Hi [%first_name%],

Well, I hope you had a good memorial day weekend. It’s easy to forget what the day is supposed to commemorate. As a reminder of the sacrifice done by our soldiers, here is the video we put together about veterans who suffer from PTSD.

This week, a mainstream study confirmed what many of us in the industry have known for some time; CBD can help addicts quit heroin. I'm excited this is getting mainstream exposure and studies are being done by reputable organizations, such as Mount Sinai Hospital. Hopefully one day they will study people leaving heroin with the help of cannabis. LA is finding new ways to drop the hammer on unlicensed shops and a study showed interesting things about heart attacks and cannabis. Also, the NFL says they are open to work with the Players Association to explore if cannabis is helpful for pain management. Currently players in pain are stuffed with opioids while cannabis is considered as bad as using steroids.

On another note, we are looking for advertising partners to include in our news roundup. We currently have one of the cannabis industry’s most popular B2B newsletters and have a very good open rate. Our list is composed of thousands of permitted dispensaries, growers, distros and manufacturers as well as cannabis lawyers, media outlets and acclaimed speakers. In other words, if you are getting our newsletter, you are probably a pretty big deal. :) It's a great way to get exposure within the industry. If your organization wants more information just reply to this email and I’ll get it to the correct person.

Thanks and have a great week!
Jessica
