With more stress, fewer rehab resources, and more people stuck at home, the US is experiencing a surge in opioid overdoses. Let's get them CBD! Senators are trying to delay the USDA’s Hemp Rules which could save farmers up to $17,000. And activists are putting pressure on the White House to remove stipulations of the FD&C Act, which states that an active ingredient in a drug undergoing approved trials (such as GW Pharmaceuticals’ Epidiolex, which contains CBD isolate) can’t be used in foods, beverages or dietary supplements. It's a law that shouldn't be applied to CBD in our opinion. But then again there are a lot of laws that shouldn't exist with hemp and cannabis. 😂
