Hi,
While credit cards aren't allowed in dispensaries, debit transactions at the counter are common. This helps dispensaries avoid holding cash and makes them safer. Visa has now decided to prohibit debit card purchases as well, making dispensaries an even bigger target for robberies. While the NY opioid supervised injection sites are operating in conflict with federal law, the White House Czar hinted that they might not shut them down, which has the LA Times wondering if we should open them in California. As if looking like a giant pen*s wasn't enough, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts decided to act like one as well. :P Ricketts has committed $500k to run anti-cannabis ads to kill a medical cannabis bill trying to make the 2022 ballot. We have a video of him saying, “If you legalize cannabis, you're gonna kill your kids.” That's a bold-faced lie. Then he said, “That's what the data shows from around the country.” That's another lie. Is it a smart move for a politician to make easily refutable lies and try to deny medicine to the sick, thereby going against 70% of Nebraska's voting population?
